@RHaccart Apologies. Made a typo. What I meant was : use a French marriage certificate notarised in HK with an apostille (in the judiciary of Hk). Hospital will accept this.
@RHaccart This is strange. Last year we had a baby in HK (mid 2020) and the hospital accepted a foreign birth certificate (German) but it had to be notarised in Hk, I believe. I’m sure that’s still the rule.
@ulywang This had nothing to do with the HKgov. HKers chose to wear masks because they knew not to trust China. There was high awareness in Hk because HKers have already lived through the SARS epidemic that also started in China. Hkers pressed the govmt to close the borders.
