Work continues to progress on a $9.8 million project to provide concrete pavement repairs and asphalt paving on sections of US 165 and LA 15 south of I-20 in Monroe. This project also includes improvements to pedestrian facilities on LA 15 such as crosswalks and signals.

BIENVILLE/CLAIBORNE PARISHES – The ongoing $11.3 million project to repair LA 9 from I-20 to LA 518 is making progress.
The overall project is anticipated to be complete in Summer 2026.

BATON ROUGE- DOTD announces lane closures as part of the I-10 Widening Project in East Baton Rouge Parish. These closures, which are necessary for the progression of the project, will affect night traffic patterns.

Progress continues on the $101.7 million Nelson Road Bridge and Extension project in Calcasieu Parish. These photos show crews with Johnson Brothers and Guinn Construction setting girders for the bridge in early May.
The project is anticipated to be complete by summer 2027.

A project to improve a section of LA 530 in north Caddo Parish continues to make significant progress.
The entire project is anticipated to wrap up in late Summer 2026.

DOTD advises motorists that beginning on June 3, there will be intermittent lane closures on I-20 westbound between the I-220 interchange and LA 782-2.
These lane closures are scheduled to be in place through the morning of Friday, June 5.

DOTD crews recently conducted asphalt paving operations on a section of US 84 west of Mansfield in DeSoto Parish. This critical maintenance work provides a safer and more enjoyable driving experience for motorists, and extends the service life of the roadway.

All lanes are now open on I-10 West on the Mississippi River Bridge. Congestion remains approaching I-10/I-12.

DOTD advises motorists that beginning on June 8, at 7:00 a.m., LA 452 will be closed at its intersection with Caldwell Street near Bernard’s Crawfish Pad in Marksville, Avoyelles Parish.
The closure is anticipated to be in place for approx. 4-5 weeks.
