Our popular Arboretum Summer Night Concerts are back! We kick off the series Friday, August 1, featuring Man Boy Brown and his Latin/rock alternative vibe.

We wish Frank McDonough, our Botanical Information Consultant, all the best as he begins a new chapter in life and retires from the Arboretum. For 27 years, he has shared his knowledge, love and photography of horticulture and the garden with thousands of visitors and members.
We haven't seen many peachicks at the LAArboretum this season. So we were thrilled to catch a quick glimpse of this peahen with her four babies. Mom was cautiously checking out the scene while her adorable peachicks watched patiently on the ledge. That did they do next?
