Depuis sa création le 22 mai 1964 à Fort-Lamy (aujourd’hui N’Djamena), la CBLT œuvre sans relâche pour renforcer la solidarité entre les États membres, promouvoir la gestion durable des ressources en eau et renforcer les moyens de subsistance des populations de la région.

Honoured to pay a courtesy visit today to H.E. President Faustin-Archange Touadéra of 🇨🇫, in the city of Bangui. During our meeting, the Commission reaffirmed its commitment to deepen cooperation for peace, resilience and sustainable development across the Lake Chad Basin.
@lcbc_cblt reiterates it's support for the Central African Republic’s development priorities and pledged closer collaboration to protect our shared ecosystems and livelihoods across the Lake Chad Basin region.
Earlier today in Bangui, I held productive discussions with H.E. Christian Sedat, the German Ambassador to Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and Equatorial Guinea.
While appreciating the Ambassador for the fruitful meeting, @lcbc_cblt acknowledges the German Government’s steadfast support through GIZ in promoting effective water-resource management in the Lake Chad Basin and strengthening resilience among vulnerable communities in the region.
I had the honour of paying a courtesy visit to H.E. Gervais Mbata, Minister of Water, Forests, Hunting and Fishing of the Central African Republic, at his office in Bangui 🇨🇫.
