@ScottMcCreaWest I've been wondering recently about how much of an influence Bulldog Drummond was on Fleming. I've enjoyed some of the Bulldog Drummond movies but never read the books. Are they good reads?
@ScottMcCreaWest 2 from 1939 come to mind. The tense pre-credit scene--Hollywood's 1st pre-credit scene--in OF MICE AND MEN & Scarlet O'Hara with the Tarleton boys (1 of whom is Superman George Reeves) in GONE WITH THE WIND. Reportedly filmed 5 times to get it right.

A most happy 90th birthday wish to the great Bruce Dern, who has royally entertained us all with truly unforgettable performances for so many decades; lets be thankful that this living legend is still with us in a career that runs from Hitchcock to Tarantino.
Young people wonder why Boomers and GenXers are tired all the time. Well, for one, we walked like an Egyptian, moon walked, walked this way, walked on the wild side, walked on sunshine, walked the line, and walked 500 miles. We walked. A lot. ~ J. Lloyd
In the history of Saturday Night Live, this group was probably one of my favorite casts.
We’ve got all the comedy greats in here! I wish SNL could turn back the clock and churn out more skits like this one.
@ScottMcCreaWest He’s great in everything. Especially the little known William Peter Blatty film THE 9th CONFIGURATION (AKA, Twinkle, Twinkle Killer Kane).
@ScottMcCreaWest Years ago on an Entertainment Tonight like show, Keach was being shown artwork by his manager of Mike Hammer in disguise in drag. Keach had the helpful suggestion of offering Bruce Boxleitner, who shared this manager with Keach,up for a switch because,“He’s much prettier than me.”
