I’m sorry I don’t intend to create drama and im kinda anxious to even tweet this but I need to get this off my chest. I’m constantly getting asked about it anyway so I will just address it publicly. Seeing this feels so wrong and I feel betrayed and hurt. I know business is a tough world but I thought she was my friend.

tldr: this was my project. Ranked keychains with interchangeable icons. I told her about it and said she could maybe do animating, as a collab. She was super hyped, asked me to send her one so she can do some testing, etc. Turns out she went behind my back, did everything alone without letting me know, and shamelessly released them as her own in a tweet a few weeks later.

A few weeks ago she tweeted complaining about someone taking her work and removing the watermark, made a really big deal out of it. Why would this be fine then? She blatantly took my entire concept and is selling it as her own.

I know neither of us own these images, and I know she is free to do whatever she wants. But this is just extremely scummy on so many levels.

I’ve been working on this since July (announced it too). Fast forward to 18th of sept. I showed her what I’m working on and invited her in on a collab. Ranked keychains with interchangeable icons. I told her she could maybe animate them.

She was instantly super hyped, said “omg WE are gonna make so much money” (“we” implying we are in on this together) and asked me to send her one, I said I will. 3 weeks later she suddenly did a tweet showing off her new project. She went behind my back and did the entire thing by herself. Didn’t notify me whatsoever.

At this point it was just a single icon in the keychain, stuck in there. I instantly confronted her. She said keychains are common, sure. She had been working on them since a long time and already ordered materials, sure. Didn’t show me any proof of that though. If she can somehow prove that this is really a coincidence (the screenshots really say differently) I’ll take it all back, but it seems extremely fishy and scummy.

Why would she say ‘WE’ are gonna make so much money? Why would she ask me to send her one? She already has the materials and was already working on them, no? Look at her reaction in the screenshot, does this look like someone that was already working on it?

Now in her new concept the icons are interchangeable too, really? That’s so specific and unique. Making stuff and being innovative and creative is awesome, especially in the league scene, making cool fan stuff, etc. But this is clearly just personal betrayal and i feel kinda disgusted

But it is what it is I will take this as a lesson, nothing I can do about it, I’m just happy to get this off my chest so people at least know the truth because I feel wronged. Maybe I’m wrong who knows but I just wanted to say my side.
