1) #Stability derives from equipotent access to #technology and #finance.
[La stabilità deriva dall'accesso equipotente a tecnologia e finanza]
2) #Decentralization of technology and finance makes society resilient to failure and abuse.
3) Technology and finance are a reflection of society: #peertopeer.
Today we're very excited to share the new, updated investment thesis for Unruly Capital.
Population decline is the #1 trend of the century - and what will shape the world in the coming decades.
At Unruly, we've been thinking about (and investing in) this for a while, and believe there is not much more important than this to focus on if you have a long term view of the world.
We took some time to write down what is happening, why, and what we can do about it. Would love to hear your comments on it.
#Decentralization Pills, Part 2 (to be continued): "The Vision for a Stable Future".
@paoloardoino (CEO of "The Stable Company" @tether, the issuer of #USDT, the largest #stablecoin by market capitalization), during his @LuganoPlanB Forum presentation, laid out a powerful vision for a stable and free future.
The goal is clear and full of hope:
"We need to build and we need to protect [...] the future, with people walking freely, using technology, not scared of the technology that they have on themselves."
The current reliance on #centralized #datacenters (where 70% of the Internet is in the hands of three companies) is taking away our control.
The current reality of centralized tech is a digital cage.
This is not the liberating technology the #internet [& #Bitcoin] was built for.
But this is not a lost cause.
The solution for achieving true freedom and stability lies in returning to the roots of innovation: building a new technological #stack from the ground up, founded on #P2P: peer-to-peer #finance, peer-to-peer #communications, and peer-to-peer #intelligence.
As a Forum Peer, I found the entire presentation highly engaging, not just for the critical content, but for its innovative format and focus on concrete solutions.

Are you ready to take action for a P2P future? Which of the three pillars (Finance, Communication, or Intelligence) requires our immediate attention and decentralized implementation?

@p@paoloardoino (CEO of @tether "The Stable Company") at Lugano's Plan ₿ Forum delivered a vivid description of the reality we are fighting against.
It's a passage worth watching, reading and contemplating:
"Let's start from what we are fighting against.
This is how I feel when I open an app on my smartphone.
This is how I feel.
You have all your apps on your smartphone are connected to these data centers.
You don't own these data centers.
You don't own your information.
You are one of those humans that has a virtual wire to somewhere in the world you cannot pinpoint, within some walls owned by a company that will use the data you store within those walls to make money, to own your life, to own your intelligence, your most private thoughts".
This description highlights the core issue of our time: the illusion of #connectivity in the face of a complete loss of control.
Do you agree?
How can we take back control over our digital and financial freedom?

Come to London on October 21st to hear from a vast number of radical thinkers and what they think the future holds for us.
“If they ever drop a really big bomb, hold up your thumb, and if the cloud is smaller than your thumb, well, you run for the hills. And if it's bigger than your thumb? Not to bother running” #fallout
