For more than 20 years, Little Red Feather Racing has been fortunate to be part of Del Mar's rich history.

From Grade 1 victories and unforgettable moments to sharing the winner's circle with the people who make this sport so special.

A new summer begins this week.

Gold Phoenix returns in search of history. A talented stable is ready to chase more Del Mar glory. And another chapter is about to be written.

Another honor for a Del Mar legend. 🏆

GOLD PHOENIX has been voted Top Grass Horse of the 2026 @DelMarRacing Summer Meet!

And what a summer it was.

His victory in the G2 Eddie Read saw GFP make history, becoming the first horse ever to win six stakes races at Del Mar.

He may not have quite pulled off the fairytale fifth consecutive Del Mar Handicap, but as always, he showed up, gave us everything and reminded us just how lucky we are to have him.

We’re incredibly proud of this horse... and it looks like Del Mar agrees.

Before THOUGHT PROCESS returns to @delmarracing on Monday for the G2 John C. Mabee Stakes, let’s rewind to one of her finest moments at the Seaside Oval!

Last summer, our star filly took command turning for home and powered clear to capture the G2 San Clemente Stakes with @HIBerrios aboard. 💨

Now a Grade 1 winner, Thought Process is back at Del Mar and ready for another big assignment on Closing Day.

Then IRON MAN CAL went out and ran the race of his life in the G2 Pat O’Brien Stakes at @delmarracing… and sent his partners into absolute pandemonium!

That’s what trainer Phil D’Amato had to say after THOUGHT PROCESS turned in her final prep for Monday’s G2 $250,000 John C. Mabee Stakes at Del Mar.

With @HIBerrios aboard, Thought Process worked five furlongs on the turf in 1:00.80, the second-fastest of 11 works at the distance.

Now it’s on to Closing Day, where she’s set to tackle 1 1/8 miles on the turf in the John C. Mabee, with Berrios retaining the ride. 💪🐴

Gold Phoenix’s remarkable bid for a fifth consecutive Del Mar Handicap came up just short, finishing fourth in a blanket finish after encountering some traffic before battling all the way to the wire.

Of course we wanted another fairytale ending.

But yesterday changes absolutely nothing about how we feel about this horse, or what he has accomplished.

Four straight Del Mar Handicaps. A record six graded stakes victories at Del Mar. And more unforgettable moments for his partners than we could ever count.

A legend before yesterday. A legend after it.
