Please follow me on other platforms, same name!
Heads up. I've been slowly working on following mutuals on other platforms, with the goal of getting away from here. I'll likely be stopping crossing posting here soon.
I value the friends I've made here, but it's just so toxic.
@viciouscosplay But yeah, my big question is why this is the way to make this announcement. It's PR, you don't have to reinvent the wheel by doing a video for what should be a simple statement. Like.... why?
@mirascarletcos It's definitely my favorite way to line up darts. By no means is this the only way, I just find it easier to line up my lines.
This, plus tying my thread rather than back stitching at the dart apex are my two main tools to create clean darts.
@anxiety_fox A mantra I have that helps a lot (As helps tasks from piling up) is 'Don't put it down, put it away'.
Too often I'll put something down, and forget about it. And it adds up until I have a lot to clean up. So I now try and put things back in their home/spot right after use.
@sumikins idk if it's different now. But I recall Dior being particularly prone to lawsuits for little things. I'm sure after knowing the manga was able to get away with it not being a physical garment, they weren't taking a chance.
@sumikins My one guess is it may have been to avoid a copyright complaint. The iconic dress is a well known Dior dress, Palladio (https://t.co/cTBTMYiyIo) The mangaka was well known for using high fashion designs for Sailor Moon, but I'm sure for a live action it made it tricky.
