Welker is a good person and honest journalist and didn’t deserve that but more importantly we have a president who constantly pushes conspiracy theories with zero evidence and can’t respond when politely challenged on that.
The problem is that journalism alone does not guarantee democracy - it has to be honest & brave enough to tell the whole story. And what we are fighting for in America is a constitutional Republic, not a democracy.
These are deeply disturbed and mentally unstable people; very likely narcissists, with massively overstated internal senses of grandiosity and self-importance.
That sense of identity is certainly why they need to cloister together in groups, tribal media, in order to receive the affirmation needed to retain their worldview without challenge. Deeply intolerant, and emotionally unstable people.
This is not emotionally mature or mentally stable behavior. What is being witnessed in this video is a psychological pathology and a codependent enabler of that pathology, under the mistaken premise of sensitivity.
This is the opposite of intellectual. This is a child in an adult physiology. It is alarming to witness outside a clinical or institutional setting.

The Southern Poverty Law Center paid reluctant white nationalists and Ku Klux Klan members thousands of dollars in donor money to remain in the notorious hate groups — even making them whole for money spent on cross-burnings, the Justice Department alleged in a shocking superseding indictment filed Tuesday.
The feds initially charged the once-venerable civil rights organization in April with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a bank, and money laundering conspiracy. Tuesday’s superseding indictment, filed in Montgomery, Ala., federal court, lays out some of the stories of informants who were paid in money the SPLC raised from donors on the pretext of “exposing hate and injustice” and “fighting discrimination.”
Two Klan members, identified only as F-31 and F-32, came to the SPLC in 2010 in fear for their safety and wanting to leave the hate group, the indictment alleges.
Instead of helping them find a way out, prosecutors say, the pair were paid $1,200 per month, plus expenses, via a shell corporation called Rare Books Warehouse to remain in the Klan.
Some of that money, according to the indictment, was used to recruit new members and make the Klan’s notorious white robes.
Among the expenses the two were reimbursed for, per the court documents, were all the costs “incurred for cross-burning events, to include the wood and fuel used.”
Expenses for “extremist group rallies,” establishing new chapters of the groups, publishing “racist paraphernalia” and other “extremist literature” were also covered.
SPLC’s efforts to infiltrate the hate groups stretch back to the 1980s, but the feds say the nonprofit used fictitious companies to conceal from its donors that a total of $4.1 million in payments were made to “field sources” between 2014 and 2023.
Those eight informants also included a Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard and a leader of a chat group that organized the infamous 2017 Unite the Right white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., according to the indictment.
The initial filing noted that the Unite the Right field source took $270,000 from the SPLC from 2015 to 2023.
Another source — who allegedly was in a romantic relationship with a SPLC employee — received $1.2 million for activities that included stealing 25 boxes of documents from the neo-Nazi National Alliance, which their lover used as material for a story on the organizations “Hatewatch” website.
Over the same rough period that the informants were paid with laundered money, SPLC’s revenue spiked 233% — “from $38,712,628.00 in 2010 to $129,069,290.00 in 2023,” prosecutors alleged.
The nonprofit’s net assets also ballooned over the same period to more than $786 million in 2023 from more than $238 million in 2010.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told reporters at an April 21 news conference announcing the indictment that the SPLC was “manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred.”
The SPLC’s attorneys responded in court papers that it got “helpful information” from the confidential informants that was later provided to law enforcement.
“Department of Justice also knows that these confidential informants helped law enforcement put violent extremists in jail,” they wrote, referencing at least two past convictions.
One was a “member of white supremacist extremist group Atomwaffen Division” and “intended to engage in a major terrorist attack against Las Vegas citizens,” according to the SPLC attorneys.
They also asked for an injunction against Blanche over his public disputes of their claim that the confidential sources aided law enforcement.
“There’s no information that we have that suggests that the money they were paying to these informants and these members of these organizations, they then turned around and shared what they learned with law enforcement,” Blanche had said on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” the day of the initial indictment.
The acting AG later said on Fox News’ “Sunday with Shannon Bream”: “It is true that over the years [the SPLC has] selectively shared information with law enforcement. That’s well-documented and there’s no dispute there. They aren’t charged with any of that conduct.”
Attorneys for the SPLC did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the superseding indictment.

Net aero is not just a scam & a con. It is a sinister system of control that will destroy your economy and your country.
Yesterday, while political attention focused on the shocking Nowak case, Ed Miliband confirmed to Parliament what had long been expected. He said the Government intends to legislate for the Seventh Carbon Budget (CB7), committing Britain to cut emissions by 87% below 1990 levels by around 2040.
Under the Climate Change Act, ministers must legislate for the budget by 30 June 2026. Miliband has said the delivery plan will be published "as soon as reasonably practical".
Why does CB7 matter?
Politicians often sell Net Zero as simple substitution and "transition". Petrol cars become electric cars. Gas boilers become heat pumps. Aviation fuel becomes sustainable aviation fuel. Life then continues much as before but cleaner.
But the CCC’s own pathway shows something much broader and intrusive. It requires not only new technology and electrification, but managed changes in demand, diet, aviation, land use, industry and much more.
Aviation exposes the problem. Ministers can use the oldest rhetorical tricks in the book and claim that holidays are not banned, but the real question is whether flying becomes more expensive and restricted. With little evidence that SAF, electric flight or other innovations can decarbonise aviation at scale, demand growth will have to be limited using a mix of indirect and direct measures. As the CCC said in February, "Aviation demand can only grow if aviation sector technology roll-out progresses."
Diet follows a similar logic. Policymakers rarely dwell on meat and dairy, but the CCC pathway assumes lower meat consumption, fewer domestic livestock and land released from farming. Ministers haven't really started and yet we are already seeing the consequences. Milk, butter and beef are among the fastest-rising food categories, in part because UK policy has helped shrink domestic herds. Cow numbers have been falling by roughly 3% a year for the last decade.
This is why language matters. Sanitised terms such as "demand management", "low-carbon choices" and "land-use change" sound administrative. In practice, they mean state direction of ordinary life and a managed retreat from the freedoms of modern consumer capitalism.
Ed Miliband has been very explicit about this. In Go Big, his post-pandemic manifesto, he writes that the purpose of his climate mission is "to abandon this 300-year model of economic growth."
This is why the argument now comes down to trust.
For two decades, politicians like Miliband have told the public that the green transition would make energy cheaper and more secure. That promise has not survived contact with reality. In 2026, Britain has some of the highest power prices in the developed world. With so little spare capacity, we have also left ourselves more exposed to energy shocks, from the war in Ukraine to instability in the Middle East.
The next phase of Net Zero now reaches into family holidays, diet, farming and everyday freedom of movement.
Can we really trust the same political class that got energy costs so badly wrong to impose the next round of legally binding emissions cuts? They have failed to protect the public during the cost of living crisis. Why should anyone trust them to protect us from higher costs and taxes over the remaining 24 years of the "transition"?
The stakes at the next election could scarcely be higher.
