@DericoSymonds Super curious to know how more ppl feel about this. It's become such common language. But perhaps feels similar to terms like 'BIPOC' in the sense that it lumps together groups of ppl who have very different lived experiences & different experiences with discrimination?

Charity (all though well intentioned) can maintain status quo and power imbalances, often creating an 'us' and a 'them'.👀

Just here to say that 92% of non-profit CEOs are white and less than 10% of the grants they obtain go to people of colour. (Learned this in Decolonizing Wealth 📕 - Edgar Villanueva). Is current day philanthropy preserving status quo?👀
