@BitcoinSapiens Math isn’t his strong suit, as we know.
400k x 4 = 1.6 million.
So he exaggerates a number by $900,000 (because he always exaggerates) - a number that is so verifiably wrong, that literally anyone can find it in less than 20 seconds.
He’s a donkey. That’s what he is.
@TinaYazdani I’d say they lost no less than 5m on that transaction. And we’ll soon find out.
As if someone is buying the plane off the Ontario Gov for the same price we paid for it. Zero. Chance.
@Mr_S_Ont@JBradshaw01 University is a big English exam already. You can’t graduate without being able to read and write.
& part of the on-boarding process for many school boards is an English proficiency “test”.
@Mr_S_Ont@JBradshaw01 UP TO grade 9. And you need a 70% to pass. You can get every grade 9 question wrong and pass easily.
You’re spending entirely too much energy on something that clearly needs to be done, math is important. & this isn’t unreasonable in the slightest
Unlimited retakes, & free. 🤷
@Mr_S_Ont@JBradshaw01 Alternatively, we could have teachers with the skills needed to close the gaps of our learners in schools in which they teach.
Educators should be able to pass a test that is slightly harder than EQAO in grade 6.
It’s 100% not high school math. It’s grade 7.
@Mr_S_Ont K-3 teachers don’t teach math??
And why are you hung up on the I/S is high school? That’s not reality at all.
The fact is that any and all teachers in Ontario, assuming an OCT certificate, have the ability to be placed into a classroom to teach math.
And they should be able.
@Mr_S_Ont@JBradshaw01 Why wouldn’t someone teaching grade 6 math have to pass a test that is full of grade 6/7 math?
It’s not even close to a high school math test.
@Mr_S_Ont What is untrue about that.
Clearly you’re not aware of how it works.
A) you need two connected divisions to qualify for OCT
B) if you go the I/S route, you’re in a position where you’ll teach math.
C) if you go any other route, you’re in a position where you teach math.
@Mr_S_Ont@JBradshaw01 What would that be?
There are loads of I/S teachers in 7/8 classes.
Why the push against having educators be able to compete a simple test. It’s 1000% not high school math.
@Mr_S_Ont@JBradshaw01 Because intermediate teachers (gr. 7-10) may end up in grade 7&8 classes. Which means you’re teaching math.
And to qualify in Ontario, you need two levels. So every teacher in the province is qualified to teach at some level of school that would require math.
