It has been an incredible honor to serve as Maryland’s Governor. Together, we Changed Maryland for the Better, and none of our success would have been possible without your support.
I am not about to give up on the Republican party or America. None of us can. It's too important.
I'm glad to see others are now following our lead on removing unnecessary college-degree requirements for jobs. We should reward skills and hard work, not excessive credentialism. It's time to debunk the fiction that an expensive degree is the only key to the American dream.
I couldn’t have asked for a better friend and partner in government than Lieutenant Governor @BoydKRutherford. It has been a pleasure to serve alongside you as we worked together to Change Maryland for the Better.
Thank you, Mr. LG, for being a part of this journey with me.
I can’t begin to say thank you enough to my wife, The First Lady, Yumi! Over the last eight years she has done so much and been the best First Lady for Maryland.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for serving on this journey with me.
There has not been a single day—good or bad—when I was not grateful for the privilege to serve as your governor.
Serving you has been the honor of a lifetime. Thank you, Maryland!
It is still possible to lead and bring people together in this hyperpolarized environment, and my experience in Maryland offers key lessons, writes @GovLarryHogan

Eight years ago, I warned about the wedge politics and petty rhetoric being used to belittle adversaries and to inflame partisan divisions in America. I vowed that the politics that have divided our nation need not divide our state.
I’m proud to say that we kept that promise.
I’ve never been more concerned that our divisions are weakening America. But I’ve never been more confident in our capacity to overcome them. My experience in Maryland proves that there is more that unites us than divides us.

On our final full day in office, I am incredibly humbled that every single demographic in our state overwhelmingly approve of how we have changed Maryland for the better.
Serving you has been the honor of a lifetime. Thank you!
As one of my last official acts as governor, it was my honor to swear in Brooke Lierman as the 34th Comptroller of Maryland and first woman to hold the office. I wish Brooke and her family all the best.
I want to thank and recognize Amelia Alcivar for her indispensable service in our administration—first as my communications director, and then as chief of staff. She led our team through most of the pandemic, and steered the successful completion of our agenda for the state.
As a country, we have come a long way because of selfless leaders like Dr. King, but there is still a long way to go. As we continue forward, we can honor his legacy by striving to fulfill the dream he envisioned for all Americans.
Today, we are given the opportunity to reflect on the life, legacy, and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. — a man whose principles and courage forever changed our nation.
Couldn't agree more with @uschamber CEO @SuzanneUSCC. Americans are fed up with the divisiveness and dysfunction in Washington. They want leaders to work together to find bipartisan, common sense solutions to the serious problems we're facing.

More must be done to root out corruption and mismanagement to ensure that every child in Maryland has access to a world-class education.

Former Maryland US Attorney Rob Hur is a prosecutor of the highest caliber and integrity. I have faith in his ability to get the facts and hold power to account.
In this country, no one is above the law.
