Seguo la storia di Giulia Schiff da diversi anni. È un’ex allieva ufficiale dell’Aeronautica Militare italiana diventata nota nel 2019 dopo aver denunciato presunti episodi di nonnismo e discriminazione all’interno dell’Accademia. L’Aeronautica ha sempre respinto le accuse, sostenendo che la sua espulsione fosse dovuta a problemi disciplinari. Dopo una lunga battaglia giudiziaria, nel 2022 il Consiglio di Stato ha confermato l’espulsione, chiudendo definitivamente la sua carriera militare in Italia.

Negli anni successivi, Schiff si è trasferita in Ucraina, dove ha combattuto come "volontaria" con il nome di battaglia “Kida”. In quel contesto ha conosciuto Victor Friedman, cittadino israeliano nato a Dnipro, che utilizzava il nome di battaglia “Wolf”. I due si sono sposati nel 2023 in Italia con rito ebraico, con grosso risalto mediatico (foto 1), approfittando dei loro passaporti stranieri per muoversi fuori dall’Ucraina nonostante le restrizioni che limitavano l’uscita dal Paese per molti militari.

A un certo punto si vede Schiff in un presidio filoucraino a Roma (foto 2), con Oles Horodetskyy, presidente dell'«Associazione Cristiana degli Ucraini in Italia» e comiziante, tra le altre cose, a Caserta con l'attuale VP del Parlamento UE, Pina Picierno.

Friedman e Schiff sono due sionisti radicali. Lui si è trasferito in Israele da giovane e, da riservista IDF, aveva tentato di unirsi alle forze ucraine dopo l’invasione del 2022. Non ci è riuscito, ed è finito ad addestrare reclute. Dopo l’attacco del 7 ottobre 2023 è rientrato di nuovo in Israele e sostiene di aver servito in unità corazzate d’élite e di aver portato (illegalmente?) dall’Ucraina in Israele equipaggiamenti e munizioni, chiedendo - anche lui, come la moglie - cospicue donazioni per acquistare altro materiale militare.

Nel dicembre 2023 Friedman detto "Wolf" ha pubblicato una foto mentre celebrava e oltraggiava una scuola della Gaza occupata scrivendo su una lavagna "Slava Ukraiini" (foto 3) e rivendicandolo sul canale Telegram della coppia (foto 4).

Una storia che ci racconta come alcuni combattenti volontari e militanti internazionali si spostano tra diversi conflitti contemporanei, dall’Ucraina al Medio Oriente, spesso in modo torbito ma mantenendo sempre una potente rete di contatti transnazionali e una forte presenza sui social. Nel disinteresse quasi totale dei media tradizionali.

Das stimmt alles nicht. Das Projekt läuft. Die Bulldozer arbeiten weiter. Rama sagt öffentlich er werde das Projekt nicht stoppen.

Diese Falschmeldungen haben ein Ziel: Menschen davon abzuhalten zu den Protesten zu gehen – weil sie denken es hat sich erledigt. Es hat sich nicht erledigt.

59 years ago the ancient Mughrabi Quarter of Jerusalem was razed to the ground, in order to build the Western Wall Plaza. Yes, the place where celebrities like to visit and show their support for the racist, genocidal, apartheid state of Israel.

The Mughrabi Quarter of Jerusalem, established in the 12th century, was located in front of the Wailing Wall, and on the eve of its destruction was home to around 650 Palestinians. Immediately after its occupation in June 1967 it was completely demolished, overnight, by the Israeli authorities.

Although most inhabitants were forcibly evacuated in the hours prior to the demolition, a few people were later found dead amongst the ruins. Some of the corpses were disposed as garbage, thrown out with rest of the rubble.

All of this was done in order to make room for the Wailing Wall Plaza, a spacious, photogenic plaza for Jewish worshippers and tourists.
