Told my son to go back to bed as assumed he was having a nightmare,until I go to his room
I’m on twitter less now, especially edu twitter and my goodness, what a change?! Some awful, argumentative and pointless replies to the simplest of tweets sharing an idea or something someone has done. When did it become sooooo toxic!?
I left teaching two years ago… so much has happened in that time and honestly, I don’t miss it. I miss the children but not the planning, scrutinies, fatigue, pressure or endless to do list.
Seeing a lot of ‘is there life after teaching’/‘what can I even do’?
Funnily enough reading these on my way to work, very much living life after teaching.
