I'm basically waving and saying "hey I'm on instagram". None of them are good but I guess here seems worse AND has been giving less and less back so doesn't feel worthwhile or moral where the others are immoral but worthwhile and I'm a hypocritical sellout 🤷‍♀️

I let that joke sit - it’s poking at institutions that excused atrocities so I’m cool with it. But then it pivots quickly to a self-deprecating poke at my own country. The quick move of targets keeps it light - it shows nothing personal. My job is mockery and anything is game.

Now I know the crowd want things soft I can play up the “yay” moment and give us panto - it goes down well. The soft joy of that makes the gold reference feel darker.
