So, i moved into this house in June 2024. The neighbours were feeding Cockatoos. I quickly adapted my own approach to attracting them.
Oh fuck did I attract them.
It started with a couple, then it was 20. Then, the Butcher birds started wanting meat, then the magpies. Now, we have 10 regular Cockatoos, 12 short billed Corellas, 2 long billed Corellas, and about 6 rainbow lorries with babies. Oh, there are the 3 juvenile Kookaburras as well.

Total, raw beef (includes dog food) for all the meat eaters. $60 p/week. Sunflower seeds for the birds 😂😂 $21 p/week. $5 p/week for the Cockatoos that like the milk arrowroot biscuits.

And the Cockatoos only destroy my drink coasters. Nothing else has been chewed. They are well behaved.

I'm pissed, I'm nervous and worried.
Today marks the 4th time since November that the Mrs has been rushed from work to hospital via critical care ambulance.
She has a heart condition called SVT. Not Covid or Vax related. She had it long before that, but it wasn't a concern as it only happened infrequently. But since Oct/Nov last year, it's been tripping out. 229 - 232 BPM. finally got put on meds about 4-6 weeks ago. They seemed to be ok, but it's just gone nuts again. That's the worried bit, I'm not as worried now about a lump on my back that is NON cancerous as I learned this morning, but that has to come out.
I'm nervous about Alfred. Yes, I said it. Nervous. The pissed bit is, I'm spending like the government trying to make things ok. While sweet Fuck all is coming in. I can't print money like them, though. Let Crypto rip, PLEASE.

This worries me but really fucking angers me. As someone who has been to the brink, and I mean point of no return. It is no shock, I've shared many times about my 35+ year battle with depression. I'm not ashamed. I have known many who crossed the line. They never fucking announced it looking for fucking engagement and sympathy. It's a silent killer that is getting worse.
