@leahmccourtmma You are as kind and as compassionate as you are gifted and talented- may there be a million @leahmccourtmma on this island in the helm years to come..
I am sorry Tony you are still being failed by a system that was supposed to protect you.
Man will let you down, churches can and will do the same, faith leaders can and will do the same but do not let go of the God that never will. What these men donโt answer for in this life they will in the next. Stay strong.
God is sovereign, he knows and sees everything. I cling to this verse daily โโVengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord" Romans 12:19 โค๏ธ
@ArchbishopEamon still hasnโt contacted survivors with whom he failed to complete settlement- pastoral care does not seem to be a priority for him. Sad& shameful. A warning for all Faithful that the leaders do not always have their care at heart regardless of their honey words
Violence and abuse against women and girls in sport is a huge problem. Story after story has emerged from MMA and BJJ gyms.
When women and girls speak up, too often they face threats, harassment, coordinated abuse, lies and smear campaigns. The same Jekyll-and-Hyde act keeps appearing: charming in public, intimidating behind the scenes, with friends recruited to pile on. Pathetic.
Safeguarding must be front and centre in every martial arts gym. Coaches and clubs need clear standards, proper training and a safe way for people to raise concerns.
Former MMA fighter Jaye Haynes is an NSPCC-trained trainer and safeguarding professional, with over 10 yearsโ experience working with vulnerable children, including frontline safeguarding. She now visits gyms to train coaches in safeguarding: https://t.co/sA7u2oOfAu
Iโve been asked to speak at Belfast City Hall on 9 November about โThe Power of Sport in Ending Violence Against Women and Girls.โ A few months ago, I was honoured to speak at City Hall during the celebration of the All-Ireland female U18 hurling champions.
As a mum, aunt and sponsor of female MMA fighters and a womenโs football team, Iโll keep fighting for women to be safer, respected and treated better in sportโand for an end to violence, harassment and abuse.
Weak men hate strong women. And they will show it.

What a time to be alive.
We are actually so blessed to be in this biblical times.
I guess you can see it both ways but wow God is breaking down everything.
The kingdom is upon us.
JESUS THE KING OF ALL KINGS ๐
Itโs funny cause you canโt escape the wrath of God not by going to mars not to going anywhere.
Jesus is King and that means King of everything โ๏ธโค๏ธ
