"I gathered over 400 strangers and shared a vision with them."
DEXA CEO, Victor Kelechi Kingsley wrote;
A vision to start a fire that spreads the knowledge of technology to the under-informed across Africa, and gradually burns out the very fabric of cyber fraud by giving young people something better to pursue.
Not by fighting cyber fraud at the surface, but by addressing one of its root causes: unemployment. We believe that when people have access to valuable tech skills and real opportunities, they're less likely to choose the wrong path.
That mission I began through DEXA.
Today, we're taking that conversation even further through the Techvival Africa Conference.
They believed in the vision. Some stepped up to become leaders, taking ownership of departments and leading teams with remarkable commitment.
This was a moment from our executive team meeting last week, and it reminded me of something I'll never forget:
Great things are never built alone because every big vision needs a team willing to carry the weight. Behind every movement you admire is a room full of people thinking, challenging ideas, solving problems, and staying committed to the mission. While ideas may spark businesses, it takes teams to build legacies, and even when one person starts the vision, it takes a united team to make it truly unstoppable.

Have you ever talked yourself out of something an event, a course, a room you could have been in right before it would have changed things for you?
Not in a regretful way. Just curious whether people can see those moments clearly in hindsight.
π Tell us about it.
If you live in Owerri, and applied as an on-site Volunteer for the Techvival Africa Conference, and you're not on your way to the onboarding venue yet, you're wrong. π

People are earning up to $40/hr training AI models remotely for major tech companies?
... and there are over 10 platforms like Outlier currently accepting Nigerians.
You may not know this, but Big tech companies like OpenAI, Google, and Meta are quietly paying ordinary people $15β$50/hr to train their AI models from home.
Most people have no idea this exists. Let me break it down. π
OpenAI. Google. Meta. Anthropic.
These companies are building the most powerful AI systems in history.
And they can't do it without you.
Literally.
Here's what they don't advertise:
AI models don't just "learn" on their own.
They need humans to label images, rank responses, write prompts, evaluate outputs, and teach them right from wrong.
That job is called Data Annotation. And it pays in dollars.
Data Annotation = labeling raw data (text, images, audio, video) so AI understands the world.
Think of it as being a teacher for machines.
You tell the AI: "this answer is better than that one." "This image contains a dog." "This code has a bug."
It learns. You get paid.
The global AI training data market is on track to hit $17 billion by 2030.
Companies are desperately hiring human annotators right now - not next year. Now.
And the beautiful part? You don't need a degree. Just a laptop, good English, and critical thinking.
Here's the breakdown of what you can earn:
π’ General tasks β $15β$25/hr
π‘ Writing/research tasks β $20β$35/hr
π΄ Expert tasks (coding, medicine, law) β $40β$100/hr
No experience. No certificate. No portfolio. Just your brain.
There are multiple platforms for this β including ones that work for Africans.
Some of the biggest names don't accept us. But several do β and pay just as well.
We've built the complete manual to navigate this space safely. Inside the guide, you will get:
β Every platform worth your time
β Which ones accept Nigerians or people in your country.
β How to sign up and pass qualification tests
β How to receive your pay in Naira
β How to avoid scam platforms
β What job you're required to do and how to do it.

Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth. - George Washington.
Where liberty dwells, there is my country. - Benjamin Franklin.
Today, we celebrate the independence of the United States, not just as a defining moment in one nation's history, but as a reminder that the human desire for liberty, opportunity, and self-determination knows no borders.
Whether you're American or not, may this day inspire us all to build societies where freedom is protected, innovation is encouraged, and every person has the chance to pursue a better future.
Happy 250th Independence Day to the United States. πΊπΈ
