@ATypicalKiwi@nzherald@NZStuff@NewstalkZB I wouldn’t be surprised if every fire truck in Auckland is on site soon. That smoke will be super toxic and the wind won’t be helping.
@FoxyLustyGrover Absolutely need to name and shame. There are lots of people who would love to be forewarned about people like this so we can vote with our wallets and never stay at their place.
@Blissmas I thought this too, but then realised a 30 second Super Bowl ad slot costs $6 million, so she got a 13 min slot (worth $150 million!) for free, and searches for her Fenti range were up 800% afterwards. Pretty good deal!
@FoxyLustyGrover The best response is to take your mask off for a moment, cough, and then loudly exclaim “THANK YOU! I’ve been saying that so don’t need to mask after testing positive yesterday but everyone keeps saying I do!”
@radionz This is great news. A blood transfusion saved my life back in the Uk in 1999 and I’ve never been able to give back since being here in Aotearoa. Looking forward to donating again! 💉
@andybudd Design itself is the process of making a series of informed choices. Without the ability to make choices a designer is basically a mac op, and this is a problem at a lot of large product orgs, where it’s often all too easy for product owners/managers to own every decision.
@DylanReeve Defensive, critical, evasive, opaque, unapologetic, zero humility. Zero support. Zero self-awareness. Literally everything you don’t want in any kind of leader. Jeeeez. 🙈
@missgraceusa Sorry for your loss. If your nana was anything like mine she didn’t need to hear from you, just knowing you were out there succeeding in the world and living your best life is all she could have ever wanted.
@maddireidy Yes - smart, tailored shorts though. The one time someone gave me shit for wearing shorts I said I’d be happy to wear a skirt instead if shorts was a problem, and amazingly shorts were suddenly fine 😂
@AbsentHog I’m not sure if it is their actual formal distinction, but asking this question previously the best answer I got was that if it has shsred/communal indoor space (even just entryway/hallway/stairs) it is an apartment.
@anon_opin I recently bought a house here in NZ, and was amazed at how quick it was. From offer accepted to moving in was 8 weeks, and that was drawn out because the seller was waiting on her new property. It’s often 3-4 weeks. I think my UK house purchase took 8 months from memory? Wild.
