An eight-month-old baby born with a rare and devastating form of epilepsy just made history - becoming the first patient in the world to receive gene therapy delivered directly into the brain.
Built on over a decade of research led by Professor Rami @aqeilan of @HebrewU of Jerusalem, the breakthrough was brought to life by doctors at Schneider Children's Medical Center - who used a single injection to deliver healthy copies of a missing gene directly into the baby's brain neurons.
One month after treatment, the infant has remained clinically stable with no recurrence of seizures and is now recovering at home with their family.

@NoaMagid 1) Saudi , Qatar and other Arab countries pushing Trump because they will lose their oil and gas market to Iran (also logistics) 2) Many US weapon manufacturers will lose their customers once Islamic regime is gone and real peace is prevailed in the Persian Gulf.
@citrinowicz You could be right specially because, no Iranian officials have been targeted in the new round. This means both BiBi and Trump agreed to push for negotiation. If we see officials are being targeted means there is no push for negotiation.
Israel is not the 51st star on the American flag, but a sovereign and independent nation. Therefore, anyone who attacks Israel should know that Israel will respond with strength and determination, in accordance with its own security interests, without seeking permission from any foreign leader, including Trump.
@jconricus ๐๐US is following the will of Saudis, Qataris, and other Arabs who investing in the US, which is saving Iranian regime as a democratic Iran will become damage their strategic advantage. ALSO US wants to keep both Iranian regime and Hezbolla to keep its weapon market in the ME.

Real friends have each otherโs backs.
