So here we are, the end of our journey.
As lots of you will be aware a new market has been appointed by @ManCityCouncil to take up our old stomping ground and start trading later this week in Levy Train Station Carpark...
We’ll cherish so many brilliant Levy Market memories from over the years - we’d love to know your faves!
And we’ll see you down the carpark at the weekend for the start of a new chapter.
Over and out from Levy Market x.
So here we are, the end of our journey.

Thanks to those that bought beautiful things, tried something new, stuck around in the rain, sat back in the sun, celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, other special days - you made Levy Market what it was. The warmth & generosity of our community is something we’ll never forget.
Hey, sorry it's been a while.
Just sharing our latest update here in case any of you missed it earlier in the month >> https://t.co/hnsH91l8lx
It's hard to believe it's been over a year now since we got to transform this run-down car park into a bustling community space ☹️
@LevyCllrs We know this isn't true when it comes to the offer we were presented with.
We just want to find a solution & bring our community market back.
P.S is this the only way you’ll communicate with us now @LevyCllrs? You have our emails - please use them to save time and energy.
Is that it @LevyCllrs?!
You're so committed that you still haven't reached out to us even after our statement last week.
Things can only move forward if you start talking to us.
Maybe stop monitoring the situation and start doing something about it?!
If you care about the market please take a few mins to share your thoughts in this form >> https://t.co/PmG00fz5ss
We’ll take your responses & use them to help shape our next steps.
Hopefully our collective imagination & some good old Levy people-power can guide us through ✨
And while we're here...
@LevyCllrs we're still waiting on a reply to this. Actually we're still waiting to hear ANYTHING from you guys!
A simple check in might be nice! Is that too much to ask as the local awarding-winning 10 year old community market who's had a rough ride?
And we have a q about the @ManCityCouncil statement - do you as local councillors now think the additional new profit share fee is acceptable on top of what we already pay? It now sounds like an extra fee only for us! @ManCityCouncil sure know how to make us feel special.
But as we hunker down for winter we’re dreaming of warmer, better times for our market. So we cast our minds back to our 10th Birthday Weekender. These pics certainly gives us all the fuzzy feels.
Squeeze your loved ones tight and look out for each other you lovely lot ✨
Hey, remember us? We’re still here, still trying to work out a way forward, still no support from the council.
Anyway with #SmallBusinessSaturday tomorrow we wanted to hop on here to encourage you to get out this weekend & support as many small indie businesses as you can...
We’re super sad that we’re not able to be together with a mulled cider in hand listening to carols in the carpark, rounding off the year on a high.
Our 10th year hasn’t quite gone the way we planned. It’s been, let's say, rather hard for our small volunteer-led team.
Hey @LevyCllrs, any chance on getting a response? Hoping you haven’t forgotten about us already.
We might be on a break but we’re committed to finding a resolution to help us secure our future.

If given the chance we hope to bounce back bigger and better than ever in 2024. And we'd love you to join us on the next part of our adventure.
We're really going to miss you all during our break. Promise you won't forget about us!
Over and out for now 💛
We want to say a MASSIVE thank you!
Thanks to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our final market of the year. We had sunshine then showers, blue skies then more rain. But something that was consistent throughout the day was a whole lot of love for our community market 💛
Saturday felt like an end of an era. For 10 yrs we've transformed an unloved car park into a community hub supporting 1000+ indie businesses along the way.
But this is only the end of a chapter, not the end of our story. Whatever our future holds you've not seen the last of us.
