Labour’s free breakfast clubs make a huge difference to Lewisham families - children get a great start to the day while parents get more freedom and flexibility and help with the cost of living too. That’s the kind of change Labour was elected to deliver.
Labour's Awaab's Law means local authorities must:
🚨Resolve emergency issues in social housing within 24 hours of it being reported.
🌧️Address damp and mould within 10 days.
🏘️Hold social housing providers to account.

"If elected Mayor, I will take a 20% pay cut."

.@ZackPolanski says the Greens only block “luxury flats”.
So why are Labour-run boroughs in Southwark, Haringey, Enfield, Hounslow and Newham building more council homes than entire Green-run cities like Bristol?
The Green Party is more comfortable on a protest than in power.
@ZackPolanski - you’ve chosen this man to represent the Greens in Lewisham.
He represents everything Lewisham isn’t.
Do you condemn Bernard Mani's views, yes or no?
Labour is delivering the biggest funding injection to create specialist places for children with SEND – part of over £3bn of investment.
Councils must prove it will be spent building nurseries, schools & colleges where every child can achieve and thrive.

NEW: We are capping ground rents at £250 a year.
This will mean big savings for over 5 million leaseholders.
Labour is taking action where others failed.
Really pleased to see Goldsmiths, University of London announce plans for a new campus in Catford.
This is a strong example of our partnership in action, working together to bring investment, creativity and opportunity into the heart of the borough. The new campus has the potential to support regeneration, skills and access to education for local people, and is a real vote of confidence in Catford and Lewisham’s future.

🏘️London’s Deputy Mayor for Housing has said that TWO NEW RAIL PROJECTS are the key to London hitting its target to build 88,000 new homes every year.
"In order to actually get to that target, a lot of things have to happen," @tomcopley said. "The DLR extension is very important. We also need a Bakerloo Line extension, the West London Orbital."
Here are the details👇
🚆Extending the Bakerloo line to Hayes could connect sites for 107,000 new homes.
🚉The West London Orbital, which would run from Hendon and West Hampstead to Hounslow, could enable the building of 15,800 new homes.
