Or maybe just spend less. FL will have four straight years of spending reductions once next year’s budget is signed later this month.
Some localities have doubled spending. Operating at spending levels of, say, two years ago is easily achievable — and would greatly help our homestead property owners.
@pastors4txkids@DianeRavitch@jamestalarico@KenPaxtonTX Your friend and mentor is a marxist lesbian who sent her own kids to private school and fights to trap poor and minority kids in failing government schools.
Yep - she's your mentor.
Real disrespect for the voters. You have the best governor in America termed out and huge disagreements between him and the legislative leaders backing Donalds. Voters have a right to know exactly where he stands on those points of contention rather than running out the clock and telling people to trust him.
I’m calling out Byron Donalds. Any stage. Any moderator. Any time. Sign the callout, hold Byron accountable, and demand a fair election.

The Florida political scene is about to get wild
1) The People overwhelmingly want property taxes eliminated
2) Local governments, their hired lobbyists $$, contractors $$, & local non-profits $$ dont want the gravy train to slow down
🥊 Gonna get a people vs swamp battle here
@JeffreyBrandes@StefKunkel And in Pasco County, the budgets for the sheriff and fire department make up less than 15% of the budget, yet those are the first things the corrupt politicians will threaten to cut to scare voters into keeping the money flowing.
@JeffreyBrandes@StefKunkel No, I don't assume - I know. When the budget for the city of St Pete increased 48% since 2020 despite near zero population growth and inflation less than half that, there's a lot of fat in the budget.
It's the height of arrogance to assume they need every dime they get.
@JeffreyBrandes@StefKunkel Why does it not occur to you - or any other politician - that when the counties and cities get less tax revenue than they expected that they would cut spending?
They don't "need" all the revenue they're getting. They just want it.
