Max has now officially been ‘discharged’ from the vets and needs no further checkups (unless it gets worse). He doesn’t need any more veterinary care and we are now just on home care and keeping him happy. Thank you to everyone 🐶❤️

Can I just say… this dog is one of the strongest I know. His tail 2 weeks ago.. compared to now!

The fact is now almost fully scabbed and he’s wagging his tail without it bleeding now!! Thank you to everyone, now to keep it healed and ongoing care ❤️

It may not look like much but the wound is significantly smaller even if it doesn’t show the best. I’m so proud of him 🥹

Massive thank you to everyone who has helped out!! We have a vets appointment next week where we will find out if he is good to carry on without weekly checkups 🥹🥳

Max is doing much better! Thanks to donations, we’ve been able to get breathable tail wrap and pain relief

Next step is a specialist vet appointment to reassess his tail and hopefully avoid surgery

This was Max’s tail on Friday. The wound is very big and on the very tip of the tail, which is the hardest place to heal but it’s doing well!!
The redness is new tissue that is growing which is an amazing sign!! We are hopeful for a full healing process; with help ❤️
