Our guest speakers this evening were, Dr John Harty and Dympna Sands, presenting:
‘After Dialysis Stops’- End of Life Management in the Post Dialysis Patient.
A very informative presentation on Palliative Care for Renal patients, to a 40 strong crowd of local Doctors and Nurses
nurses providing #EOLC for those areas.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and we thank you for the continued support to help us provide this invaluable service to the local County Down #communities.
5 Years of 'Life & Time'
Last week marked 5 years of active service for our End of Life Nursing service for the people of County Down.
We have actively called to a family home 1,924 times to offer support to patients who have been referred from their GP.
at night, they are 'Life & Time'.
As we head into 2024, we have 'charted' a course for the greater Mourne areas of Kilkeel, Attical, Annalong, Longstone, and Ballymartin and with a current team of 46 nurses (supported by our #Doctor team) we hope to have 20 more new Life & Time
If Christmas is hard…. ❤️
Christmas is a time when we all gather together to give, share and show how much we love those in our life who are dearest. But for some, it can be a time when we notice who isn’t here, rather than those who are.
Please be kind to yourself
