The future is coming faster than you think. Today, we announced the building completion of the Overture Superfactory, which comes just 17 months after Boom broke ground on the site. The Superfactory will produce 33 Overture airliners annually, and a second production line will double capacity to 66 supersonic aircraft each year. Completion of the Overture Superfactory sets the foundation for the return of supersonic travel, which will put the world within everyone’s reach.

Today, Boom announced the successful flight of XB-1, the world's first independently developed supersonic jet, at the Mojave Air & Space Port in Mojave, California. Flown by Chief Test Pilot Bill "Doc" Shoemaker, XB-1's inaugural flight marks a major milestone toward the return of supersonic travel onboard Overture - Boom's supersonic airliner. The XB-1 program provides the foundation for the design and development of Overture, while establishing a safety-first culture in engineering and manufacturing.
"Today, XB-1 took flight in the same hallowed airspace where the Bell X-1 first broke the sound barrier in 1947." said Blake Scholl, founder and CEO of Boom Supersonic. "I've been looking forward to this flight since founding Boom in 2014, and it marks the most significant milestone yet on our path to bring supersonic travel to passengers worldwide."

Why not join a later stage company?
Later stage companys tend to grow more slowly and the org has introduced multiple levels. It's easier to scale the career ladder when things are growing rapidly, since the number of opportunities relative to headcount is high. That ratio quickly shrinks.
Why not join an earlier stage company?
They are riskier. That said, I have lots of pre-seed and seed stage companies and I do think it make sense sfor folks to join those companies. To join at that stage though you need to be a missionary, not a mercenary. You need to believe deeply in the company, the founders and its mission. It's going to be hard, so when you hit bumps in the road you need to push thru. So by all means, go earlier, but only if you have strong conviction.
enjoy! I'll put a link to the list in the comments.
