Unfortunately, it’s going to keep being 1,500 streams until artist take a stand and go direct to consumer. But that won’t happen because the record labels and the DSPs are in bed and have deals in place. It would take for big name artist to take a stand and go direct to consumer. When I say big name artist I’m talking Beyoncé, Drake, Taylor Swift, HER etc.. The chances of this happening is slim to none because they have deals with big labels that are eating with the DSPs.
