Terumi Tanaka, representative of 2024 peace laureate Nihon Hidankyo, gave a powerful speech today at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo. With stirring detail he recounted the events he witnessed on 9 August 1945 as a 13-year-old boy living 3 kilometers from the hypocenter of the atomic bombing at Nagasaki.
