What a beautiful gathering of our 50 states and a beautiful use of music. When I do therapeutic music for memory care, one of the songs that brings the most smiles and participation is “Jesus Loves Me”…they remember EVERY word and note even when they can’t remember much else. Singing of Jesus’ love brings them (and those at this event) joy. I love this! 😍
🚨 NOW: It’s midnight here in DC, and Christians from all 50 states have set up tents and are singing worship songs at the National Mall
This is beautiful.
I’ve listened to all 50, and so far, Michigan and Florida are the favorites (extended cuts in the video)
U.S. Park Police have a VERY visible presence here, and worshippers have made officers know they’re appreciated.
No riff raff or homeless people causing problems, as Trump’s pretty much eradicated street crime here on Capitol Hill

Did anyone else’s grandmother sing this hymn around the house? This is one of my favorite memories of my Nana. I realized I only recalled the chorus (sort of) so it was fun to be able to learn and sing all the lyrics and picture myself singing it with her. I hope you and your grandparents, community, or caregivers enjoy singing it with me.💕
