LA - let’s get those ballots in! It’s one week until election day.
Vote centers are now open, or you can drop your ballot at any drop box near you. Hope we’ll earn your vote for a second term 🙏
These changes would have never been possible without the will of Los Angeles County voters.
Because of your choice, we’re moving one step closer to restoring public trust in a county government that is truly ethical, accountable, and responsive to the needs of our communities.
In 2024, voters approved Measure G to transform governance in Los Angeles County.
Today, the Board of Supervisors moved to meet one of Measure G’s most urgent requirements: the establishment of an independent LA County Ethics Commission.
By the end of this year, LA County will:
1) Seat ethics commissioners
2) Establish an Office of Ethics Compliance
3) Send to the ballot a charter amendment to formalize the commission’s long-term independence and structure.

Thanks, @ladailynews for recognizing the need for a leader willing to keep taking on our political system with bold, accountable, leadership.
