@mathraptor42 fantastic work :) i really enjoy how you pushed the vertical hatching from the flames up into the middle tree. can i ask what size paper/pen you work with to get such fine lines?

@Floppinglopagus @JasminDarnell that's exactly where it's useful! if you find a pleasing enough rhythm, it can be universally applicable. arthur rackham is a good example of an artist whose gestures transcend subject matter.

@DanMeinhartArt I use a refurbished 12.9" 1st gen ipad pro (~$300) with Procreate ($10) for all of my digital art needs 👀 the ipad's comfortable to use and easy to adapt to imo but procreate is really what sells it. god-tier software
