@JoelEveretMusic@bbcdoctorwho@bigfinish Have to agree - I love 10, but this sounds like David, or like a narrator telling a story, rather than The Doctor. He's doing it beautifully, it sounds wonderful and rich and interesting... but it sounds removed, in a way. Hopefully over time he's able to come back to it more.
@crumbl All the comments saying "how original" or "i can make this at home" are killing me - one of their main, most popular classics is CHOCOLATE CHIP... ๐๐๐ Any argument you can make for why you'd buy a choc. chip cookie instead of make a batch at home, just apply here too. kthxbye
@Fat_Electrician Alternately, I'd love a rant on how Panda Express is allowed such an iron grip on the word "panda" that no one else can use it - I literally know small businesses (who, btw, don't sell Asian food) who were sued & had to change their name & brand because of this.
@Fat_Electrician Living in the SW, I'd love to know the story behind all the "-bertos" Mexican chains: Filibertos, Alibertos, Juliobertos, etc... are they related? Who came first? Is overcoming brand copyright/patent/whatever just that easy?
@chowmommy@ZacharyLevi Anyone who takes any job agrees to certain rules. Like some restaurants allow employees to eat for free/at a discount, while others don't. Some jobs have flexible schedules, or remote work, others don't. If you're not willing to follow the rules, you don't take the job.
@NecroTwoshoes@ZacharyLevi I think - just from the little I got here - the difference seems like it'd be that everyone's free to come and go from WW whenever they want, which I'm guessing isn't the same at a compound. This actually reminds me of the old factory towns like Hershey. Just my 1st impression.
We all know this is how it works. We also all know how *ridiculous* it is that this is how it works. That this giant company WILL. NOT. HELP if you go through "normal channels". Only when we collectively, publicly, call them out & put the spotlight on the lack of help. @YouTube
To clarify if you're watching at home, I've been in touch with @TeamYouTube Creator Support via email for six days now. They have been unable to help beyond telling me to fill in a broken form/try a different form/wait a few days and try that first form again (still broken).
@Farhina_KM @rowwyaboat I think it's that it's not getting renewed? Which, if I understand right, is slightly different in that they'll get to finish out the season, so the show won't just stop where it is.
@elonmuskADO To be completely honest I don't think either is better than the other, but everyone got to know this platform under the name Twitter, & the switch to X was in a completely different zip code, with very little (from my perspective) branding effort to connect the space w the name.
.@MountainDew BOY, I SAY BOY, YOU GOTTA #BRINGBACKPITCHBLACK AND #BRINGBACKSUPERNOVA, BOY! โI SAY BOY, YA LIKE MONEY DONโT YA BOY??โ WELL WHAT YA GOT HERE IS SOME MIGHTY FINE FLAVORS OF DEW BOY, SO MIGHT AS WELL BRING EMโ BACK SO YOU CAN HAVE SOME OF THAT SWEET SWEEY MONEY, BOY!
Interesting lineup, I like the "Case to Keep" and "Case to Cut" under each show. Interesting read, even if you don't vote (though you'll probably end up wanting to. I did. ๐).
@paolini Typewriter mode is the phrase for something I've always wanted, but never quite knew how to articulate. ๐ Hope programmers read & take note! โค๏ธ
@laguyinhou@MissZindzi@Dictionarycom But that's the point - it should be written as "should've", not as "should of". There's nothing wrong with the saying itself, it's the writing of it as something completely different that's maddening. The contraction covers the "have" in should have, as you clearly know. ๐
