I think Ilia should fight for vacant if that were the case, but wouldn't be mad at Charles vs Arman for vacant since they both deserve a crack at the title.

He (Ilia) is also favored in the rematch already, im not gonna go into on why bc it will take too long to explain.

@virgil35318 Yes, I am bias because Im an Ilia fan, shoulda coulda woulda, no discredit to Justin whatsoever he came in with the better gameplan and put on an amazing performance.

@virgil35318 Ilia was close to finishing Gaethje, and yes, he was down 3-1, but 1st round was very close; he got beat by Gaethje fair and square tho ill admit.

I think if his eyes weren't compromised (obviously from the damage from justin, also from early eye poke), it would hav been diff.

Like styles make fights, he lost 1 fight and now everyone switches but they dont see what truly happened

@wstgoat7 including Gaethje, I think that Gaethje just came in with the better gameplan tn, and if Ilia comes in at his best and not thinking that that pretty KO is his only option, then he wins every single fight.

@wstgoat7 the pretty KO and that sometimes he needs the dirty finish or to use the grappling if ykwim.

He lost almost all of his aura, hopefully he comes back soon and stronger. I think this is an eye opener for him, and I still think Ilia destroys every1 in the division...
