My life is full of dreams
I would like to become an honest boy
I love pet animals
My life teaches me many things
My life is a gift
My life is a journey

1) Loka students started their own journals in which they write and draw about their life's learning journeys.
The first project they documented: from selfie to self-portrait.
An afternoon walk through our village and its thriving farming community with Loka's friends from London. The paddy harvest is being prepared for storage, dried cow dung patties are used as fuel, cattle is being fed and children are playing along the Punpun river in Bihar.
This Republic Day at Loka we celebrated Unity and Community. Have you ever noticed that the word unity is included in community?
Loka's children performed songs, dances and dramas connected to religious unity, farming communities and created art works on (comm)unity.
Jai Hind!
Saturday Morning at Loka: Bharatanatyam Dance, a drama about Trees, 3 wonderful guests of Loka in the local news, art explorations and more...

"Teachers and family members give many suggestions in life. But it is only when we listen to our hearts, that we know what needs to be done. Rani Laxmibai was a great warrior queen of India. Her courage inspires me to fly, free as a bird."

Little things matter & become big. Loka in its small way is doing a very big thing and needs support from all of us. The future of work is changing but skills, craft will always be needed despite AI. Perhaps that is the way forward for Loka's children. ~Pradeep Sachdeva 1958-2020
