In 1656, the presence of #Jews in England became tacitly accepted. A small, discreet synagogue in Creechurch Lane, #London was opened that year.

A landmark for the Sephardim was the inauguration of @bevismarksuk Synagogue in 1701. It was said that Princess -and soon to be Queen - Anne herself offered an oak beam as part of the construction. The #Sephardim had arrived.
