๐จ Bantase, have you heard about mpox?
Mpox can spread through close physical contact. Look out for symptoms like a rash, fever, headaches, body aches and tiredness.
๐ Know the signs. Stay informed. Get checked if youโre concerned.
Would you know what to do if you noticed these symptoms? ๐๐ฝ

Yesterday, we stood in silence because sometimes the pain is too loud for words. ๐ค
Our silent demonstration was a call to remember every life lost to Gender-Based Violence and Femicide, every survivor carrying the weight of what happened, and every family left behind asking, โWhy?โ
This fight includes women, men and children. No victim should feel unseen, unheard or alone. Our plea is simple: letโs end the silence, speak up against GBVF and build communities where everyone feels safe.
If youโre a victim or survivor and need someone to talk to, loveLife is here. You donโt have to carry it alone.

Our CEO has joined the silent demonstration in Kempton Park, standing in solidarity with every victim who has lost their life to Gender-Based Violence and Femicide. ๐
From here, she will proceed to the site of the tragic incident to pay tribute and address the community.
Today, we remember the lives lost, stand with survivors and demand an end to GBVF.

๐จHappening Today๐จ
loveLife will be hosting a nationwide SILENT demonstration.
No chanting. No noise. Just a united stand against GBVF.

We showed up. We spoke out. We demanded action.
Women are being killed, and silence is not keeping us safe.
Yesterday, we took our demands for action, accountability and justice to Kempton Park Police Station.
This cannot continue

GBVF cannot be ignored, and no one should have to face it alone. ๐ Through our Mobile Bus Unit, in partnership with Sasol, weโre bringing support, information and a safe space closer to communities affected by gender-based violence and femicide.
We stand with survivors. We listen. We care. We keep showing up. ๐

๐ The fight against GBVF cannot wait.
In 2024, loveLife partnered with Sasol to take support closer to communities through a mobile bus unit providing free, confidential and inclusive services to survivors and families affected by GBVF. The initiative expanded from Gauteng to KwaZulu-Natal, with a counsellor and registered nurse on board.
And the work continues.
With South Africa once again confronting the devastating reality of femicide and violence against women, support must remain within reach. Recent killings have sparked widespread outrage and renewed calls for action.
If you or someone you know needs support, please use the services available. Speak to our counsellor. Ask for help. You don't have to face it alone. ๐ซ
We cannot normalise violence. We cannot look away. The fight continues โ and so do we. โ๐ฝ๐
