River of Light is back! ✨

After a brief pause while the storms passed through, River of Light will light up Liverpool City Centre tonight from 5pm-9pm!

The Cunard Market will also run as scheduled this evening🛍️

With improved weather conditions forecast for Monday 26 October, tomorrow’s event is currently expected to go ahead as planned.

Due to a yellow weather warning remaining in place until 9pm, Sunday 25 October’s River of Light event has been cancelled in the interests of safety.

Some remedial works to installations are also required following damage caused overnight by Storm Boelo.

The planned Water Street closure will not go ahead tonight (Sunday 25 October) due to this cancellation.

We have agreed the development deal that will pave the way for around 800 new homes on this landmark site.

🚧 Upcoming road closure - Rose Lane, Mossley Hill 🚧

A small section of Rose Lane, near Glenmore Avenue, will be closed from 9.30am-3.30pm on both Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October.

This is to allow for a dangerous tree to be removed.
