Virginia has so much to offer, and tourism helps showcase the people, places, & businesses that make our Commonwealth special. It was wonderful to attend the Virginia Tourism Authority Board meeting & join a thoughtful discussion about supporting economic growth across Virginia.
(1/2) It was an honor to host the first Pride celebration in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor alongside Equality Virginia. Pride Month is a time to celebrate and uplift LGBTQ+ communities across the Commonwealth and recognize the many ways they strengthen Virginia.
As Pride Month begins today, we honor the contributions, resilience, and diversity of LGBTQ+ Virginians across the Commonwealth. We remain committed to building a Virginia in which every person can live authentically, safely, and free from discrimination.
Today, we honor the memory of the 12 individuals whose lives were taken in the Virginia Beach Municipal Center shooting. We remember them, support those who continue to grieve, and reaffirm our commitment to building safer communities for all Virginians.

(1/2) As part of my Virginia’s Voices initiative, I and my staff spent the afternoon at Empowerhouse in Fredericksburg, touring the facility, hearing from survivors, and seeing firsthand how this remarkable organization saves lives and impacts the future for so many families.
My heart goes out to everyone impacted by the serious crash on I-95 this morning. Grateful to the first responders and transportation crews working quickly to keep people safe and reopen the roadway.

The Contraceptive Equity Act (SB 361) and the Right to Contraception Act (SB 596) have PASSED and have been APPROVED by @GovernorVA!
I am proud to have championed both of these bills this past session. Thank you to all those who fought for this legislation in recent years, including @ltgovhashmi. I look forward to continuing the work to protect and defend reproductive rights across the Commonwealth.
