Rooted in Resilience - LHWRF Annual Report 2024-25
The year 2024–25 stands as a reflection of our journey with communities one rooted in trust, built on partnership, and strengthened by resilience. LHWRF believe that true and lasting transformation begins with resilience.
Every farming journey deserves the opportunity to grow.
Through the Desh Bandhu Jan Utkarsha Pariyojana (DBJUP) initiative, Gularam gained access to the resources, knowledge, and support needed to build a more resilient future. His story reflects how sustained community-led interventions can help farmers strengthen their livelihoods, embrace sustainable agricultural practices, and create new opportunities for long-term growth.
At Lupin Human Welfare & Research Foundation (LHWRF), we remain committed to enabling meaningful change by empowering farming communities to thrive with confidence and resilience.

What if breathlessness isn't just a part of growing older?
Persistent breathlessness or a chronic cough may be an early sign of COPD, not just ageing. Early diagnosis and timely treatment can help slow disease progression and improve quality of life.
At LHWRF, we promote sustainable farming practices and help farmers form FPOs to improve market access & marketing
Alongside FPOs, solutions like direct farm-to-consumer models, digital marketplaces & stronger value chains can help ensure better incomes & sustainable livelihood
Sharing their experiences in scientific goat rearing, they demonstrated how knowledge and innovation are empowering rural women and strengthening sustainable livelihoods.

Every treatment begins with hope. Every recovery becomes a story worth sharing.
Our purpose, We catalyze treatments that transform hope into healing, comes to life through the voices of those who inspire us every day. Because behind every breakthrough is a person, a family, and a journey that reminds us why we do what we do.

Through 35 street plays across Alwar (19) and Dhule (16), farmers engaged with key messages on sustainable farming through relatable performances.
The positive response and active participation from farmers demonstrated the effectiveness of culturally rooted communication.
The Power of Street Plays
To promote sustainable agricultural practices, the LHWRF ABLE Program in collaboration with the Martand Foundation, used street theatre as a powerful tool for community awareness.
Under the LHWRF ABLE Project in Dhule, Maharashtra, 112 farmers from Navalnagar & Nijampur clusters have been supported with micro-irrigation systems, strengthening climate-resilient farming and livelihoods.

Promoting sustainable farming through efficient irrigation 💧
Efficient water use is key for sustainable agriculture, especially in rain-fed regions. Drip irrigation ensures every drop reaches the root zone, improving productivity and reducing input use
This recognition reflects LHWRF’s sustained commitment to improving water security and empowering rural communities through sustainable livelihood initiatives.
Lupin Human Welfare & Research Foundation (LHWRF) has been honored with the Gold Award at the Global ESG Awards 2026 for its impactful work in water conservation.
Through awareness sessions, LHWRF helps communities understand health issues, access available services & make informed decisions about their well-being. Discussions focus on communicable & non-communicable diseases, early detection, preventive care and regular screenings.
What’s the first step toward building a healthier community?
It starts with community mobilization. By bringing health conversations into villages, worksites, & community spaces, we make health information more accessible and encourage timely care.
