TFTC 755 w/ @_Checkmatey_: "When the bubble finally cracks, Bitcoin's going to be the most underowned, forgotten asset of all time. No one's gonna own it. Who's gonna sell it?"
We discuss:
⚡ The 4x divergence
⚡ Saylor's de-risk
⚡ Apathy = bottom
I'm imagining the bears who think that Bitcoin is so weak that if you buy 4% of it and talk a lot, you can destroy the whole network.
It's not even a person, but a group. Bought 4%.
Like, somehow the key weakness of Bitcoin is that if someone buys 4% of it, everything fails.
Are you being serious Andrew? It’s difficult to tell. Lots of Australians invest in assets like Bitcoin because they’re trying to outpace the obvious expansion of the Australian dollar money supply and the steady destruction of their purchasing power mate.
When Australia’s M3 money supply rises into the trillions while wages and productivity lag behind, people naturally look for stores of value outside cash savings. That isn’t “speculation” in isolation and for many Australians it’s defensive behaviour against inflation and currency dilution. Having you frame ordinary Australians as somehow irresponsible for trying to protect their savings is incredibly tone-deaf. People aren’t piling into alternative assets for fun. They’re responding rationally to an economic environment where housing, energy, insurance and groceries have all surged faster than incomes.
Australians shouldn’t be mocked for trying to preserve the purchasing power they worked hard to earn. Do better.
In a few months profits will temporarily flow out of TradFi (cool off phase after IPOs).
People will want to know where to put their money because everything already went up so much.
And there Bitcoin will be, ready to begin the next four year cycle.
The Travel Rule is coming. This is not good news.
The compliance net around Aussie Bitcoin users is tightening again.
First it was KYC. Then source-of-funds. Then bank account checks. Then endless questionnaires.
Now the “Travel Rule” is becoming the next major layer of surveillance and administrative burden.
And if you think it ends there, think again.
But do not despair.
We are here, fighting the good fight.
Bitaroo is taking a stand, with major news coming next month.
Expect us.

@RonStoeferle How about thousands and thousands of computers, run all over the world, which all keep the same record of a monetary ledger, and this keeps the system honest, fair and immune from debasement?
Crazy idea.
Saylor buying Bitcoin with fiat debt is the funniest thing in financial history.
He found the Empire’s printer, plugged it into the Orange Death Star, and now every bond manager on Earth has to explain why they’re earning 4% in a currency being murdered by Congress.
Tim Cook is stepping down after 15 years at Apple. The stock returned 20x on his watch. One of the best CEO runs in history.
In that same window of time, bitcoin is up over 7,500x. No CEO. No board. No quarterly earnings. No company.
No other asset comes close.
Strategy has acquired 34,164 BTC for ~$2.54 billion at ~$74,395 per bitcoin and has achieved BTC Yield of 9.5% YTD 2026. As of 4/19/2026, we hodl 815,061 $BTC acquired for ~$61.56 billion at ~$75,527 per bitcoin. $MSTR $STRC https://t.co/ifGXjMeIZH
I have been meeting with members of Congress over the last few months to make the case for why Bitcoin matters for national security.
It appears to be working. I expect this week will be a game changer for Bitcoin in DC. 🇺🇸
Continued innovation. It’s clear that the design space for Bitcoin-backed perpetual preferreds is trending towards increasingly higher frequency cash flow payments.
$BTC to the moon, and Mars too.
