All other provinces have raised the minimum marriage age for girls to 18. Khyber Pukhtunkhwa must not remain the exception.

I call on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to act now: raise the age from 16 to 18 and end child marriage.

Our girls deserve education, childhood and a future.

The province’s debate has been wowww- separated those who are grounded and know voice of people in constituencies vs technocrats / spokespersons of establishment. Super to c who is where. Organic language/history ethnicity based division vs establishment kaaat pooot. What’s issue with local govts being fixed? Vs destroying ethnic fabric. Quite amusing. Best was @DaniyalNA116 analysis of organic provinces vs imposed. Spoken like a real people’s person vs voice of the boys. At the end of the day boys need the funds for Defence vs provinces. Those being spokespersons are identified /marked for future.

This much I agree with…. (“new provinces” plan is hogwash. What Pakistan needs is empowered local Governments. Having 20 chief minister fiefdoms instead of 4 won’t solve the problem.)
