This episode amounts to an own goal by Zelensky, but, in the long run, it is unlikely to prevent what appears to be Ukraine’s inevitable victory over the Russian invaders. The strength of Ukrainian resistance is the country’s civil society; the protests over Fedorov’s firing reaffirm that Ukraine remains a vibrant democracy, even if it is unable to hold elections in wartime. https://t.co/dczVxU61dX
