UPDATE: @AlphaNews runs a story about the poll from @leagueofwar, written by @SteveCortes, who commissioned it, but doesn't disclose in the story that it's Cortes' poll.
As I noted, Political Gaslighting 101.

Political Gaslighting 101:
1. Have an allied group conduct a poll, but mask who's behind it.
2. Get a friendly media outlet with a credible-sounding name to frame it exactly how you want.
3. Get people to push it as a legit poll from a legit source.
4. Hope nobody notices.

🗳️ Take: In the best-case scenario for Republicans in Minnesota, Klobuchar currently has a 10-point lead over Demuth in a poll conducted for a Republican-aligned organization (@LeagueOfWorkers) that "Consists of One Guy: A Former Trump Spokesman" - > https://t.co/TWAOr5NEec
NEW: @morningtake's fair take is tough news for Team Demuth. Klobuchar: 100 deep for photos. Demuth: never more than a dozen at the booth. Jensen pulled bigger crowds in 2022. 56 days to Election Day. #mngov
It's notable that the betting markets currently have Klobuchar's odds closer to the 2026 titanium blue states of IL, NY, and PA rather than Wisconsin or Arizona, which have D favored yet competitive races for Gov.
I'd expect this to drift down toward 90% if Demuth can get more decent polls this month closer to a 10 point gap against Klob.
But at this stage the smart money and dumb money agree, the MN GOP has quite a hill to climb. Everything truly hinges on narrowing that gap if we want a chance at surviving downballot, let alone winning outright.
Minnesota US Senate Michele Tafoya defends her comments about people telling her they're embarrassed to be from Minnesota: "I hear it every day ... I heard it 10 minutes ago"
🎡 Take: I went to the Minnesota State Fair tonight—big crowd. My take: extend the Fair by a few days. Cap daily attendance. More total access, less peak-day chaos.
This is not okay.
Students deserve a safe place to live and learn. As a proud Gopher alum, this hits close to home. As the next County Attorney, I'll bring law enforcement and prosecutors together, including U of M Police and MPD, to focus on anyone inflicting violence.
NEW: @CookPolitical#mnsen ranking between Flanagan vs. Tafoya remains "Likely Democrat."
"Likely: These races are not considered competitive at this point but have the potential to become engaged."
58 days until Election Day.
@Tokesq@zach_freimark In his rush to spike the football, Zach missed that he was in the wrong end zone. Jensen, the Republican, was willing to debate and speak to the media, unlike Tafoya. Jensen participated in numerous debates and didn't shy away from the media.
@DeRushaJ@wccoradio Yep, and I reposted your post about her apperance. The post you replied to was a repost of her refusing to speak with the Star Tribune. You also referenced candidates avoiding media.
@mbrodkorb To Demuth's credit, she's at least doing interviews. We've had no luck getting Klobuchar, Flanagan, or Tafoya at the fair. I believe they've all done morning news but not Chad's nor my shows.
