BREAKING: Jamie Spears has been accused of spending more than A BILLION dollars of Britney’s money. She was left with less than $60 million. #JusticeForBritney
@OttawaCitizen Reporting needs to be more accurate. Remote work is here to stay. There aren't even enough offices for current staffing numbers. The issue is the language in the agreement. Right now everything is very arbitrary managers doing whatever they want. Update of agreement is required
@CaptRaydavis @julie_ppc @ryangerritsen Any monies received during the strike is coming from union via union dues. No payment from the employer. Payment amount is different based on youre regional/local union.
One thing I wish was reported on more in this whole PSAC thing is how public service collective agreements are constantly overdue and expired, often by years.
Just why?
And why so often?
Maybe there is a simple answer out there but I dont understand it...
@Nana00018487212@psac_afpc@cafreeland Actually when i worked retail i had better benefits. In our last collective agreement we negotiated coverage for other birth control not just pills.
@SamHersh01 Unionized government workers would be first in line cheering to high heaven if private sector workers banded together to ensure a decent wage. Yet people want to drag them down for fighting for themselves.
Trolls out in full force today.
Jus because public servants are demanding better wages and working conditions doesn't mean you get less.
It's your boss, your landlord, the wealthy, a govt prioritizing corporate profit ensuring you make less money not other workers, blame them.
@legs_bow@troutwhispers People are going to steal/shoplift so lets not have any retail establishments. That argument makes no sense right? That's why there is "loss prevention" and that same equivalent in all industries. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater... ever heard that saying?
@TheRealBradLuck@themaddchirper@TheFreedomHoney@psac_afpc If people were properly compensated then maybe we wouldn't have such high attrition and then the people answering the phones would be experienced knowledgeable public servants instead of a revolving door of new hires with limited experience... #themoreyouknow
@TheRealBradLuck@themaddchirper@TheFreedomHoney@psac_afpc Because retention is low... revolving door of new hires who all quit because they arent paid enough for the intense training and expectation of knowledge and service. The knowlege gap in public service is at an all time high because no one stays... because...fair wages...
Gonna be a lot of chuds doing mental gymnastics trying to bitch that the strike is disrupting the country and their lives while arguing workers don't deserve more money because they don't actually work.
