What a special surprise!
Students at Maine Memorial welcomed three miniature horses, brought in by ENL Teacher Amy Decker!
The horses are a great source for therapy and work to spread calmness.

3rd graders in Mrs. Thorner's class at Homer Brink are bringing literature to life through the magic of stop-motion animation!
Students just wrapped up an exciting movie-making project, blending reading and technology to bring the book Because of Winn-Dixie to life.

Today, our graduating seniors completed their Senior Walkthroughs of their former elementary buildings and Middle School.
From a Senior/Kindergartener class photo to the historic bell ringing, we are so proud to continue these traditions.
✍️Congratulations to two talented young Spartan writers on earning recognition in the annual WSKG Writing Contest! Middle School student Jolina (pictured) earned 2nd Place in Fiction for grades 6-8. Homer Brink student Ari Phillips received 3rd Place in Fiction for grades 2-3!
History came to life for Maine Memorial's 4th graders thanks to today's trip to the Camillus Erie Canal Park!
Students stepped back in time as they enjoyed a boat ride along the Erie Canal, tried washing laundry the old-fashioned way, explored toys from the 1800s, and more!

Students from Mrs. Erb’s class teamed up with kindergarteners in Amanda Padrazo's class for a special Flag Day activity. The experience helps HS students develop leadership, planning, and public speaking skills.
It’s Egg Drop Day at the Middle School! 🥚
Students in Dave Buchak and Maeve Verity’s science classes have been constructing devices to *hopefully* protect their eggs from a 15 foot drop!
Working with partners, they learned about velocity, impact force and more!
Our Homer Brink 4th graders are completing their swim unit today!
For the past two weeks, students spent an hour of their day at the high school, learning swim safety, rescue techniques and much more from Mr. Krise.
Today was their “free day” to celebrate their completion!
First graders in Miss Gioffre & Mrs. Anastos’ classes at Homer Brink celebrated their learning by making lemonade! In culmination of their Procedural Writing Unit, students worked together to write a book about how to make lemonade. Then, they put their writing to the test!
