🇲🇰 Concluding a successful @NATO Summit in Ankara, where Allies took important decisions to further strengthen the Alliance and adapt to today’s evolving security environment.

🔹 Reaffirmed our commitment to increased defence investment, stronger capabilities, fairer burden-sharing and continued support for Ukraine.
🔹 Held a series of meetings with counterparts from Allied and partner countries, discussing bilateral relations, NATO cooperation and current regional and global security developments.
🔹 As a committed and credible Ally, we remain focused on contributing to our collective security and strengthening transatlantic unity.

👉 NATO continues to demonstrate its unity, resolve and ability to deliver on the security challenges of today and tomorrow.

🇲🇰 Yesterday and today, I am participating in the 2026 NATO Summit in Ankara as part of the state delegation led by President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.

🔹 The Summit is focused on strengthening collective defence, defence investment, burden-sharing, support for Ukraine and current regional security challenges.
🔹 On the margins of the Summit, I met with the Netherlands’ Foreign Minister, Tom Berendsen, to discuss bilateral relations, regional and European issues, and our cooperation within the Alliance.

🇲🇰🇶🇦 I concluded my visit to Doha with two important business meetings, with the CEOs of Qatar Airways and Barzan Holdings.

🔹 At Qatar Airways, we discussed the Government’s investment priorities and the potential for establishing a direct air link between our two capitals, with benefits for tourism, trade, business and people-to-people connectivity.
🔹 At Barzan Holdings, we exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation in the defence industry, security technologies and the development of defence capabilities and institutional resilience.

🇲🇰🤝🇶🇦 Today in Doha, I met with Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani.

🔹 Discussed opportunities to further strengthen bilateral economic and trade cooperation and create new links between the business communities of our two countries.
🔹 Agreed that the positive momentum in our political relations should be matched by stronger investment and trade cooperation through concrete initiatives.
🔹 Exchanged views on sectors with strong potential to expand economic ties, increase trade and encourage greater business engagement.

🇲🇰🇶🇦 In Doha today, I met with H.E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of Qatar.

🔹 Explored ways to enhance cooperation in defence and security, building on the strong partnership between our two countries.
🔹 Discussed the evolving regional and global security landscape and the importance of close coordination in addressing shared challenges.
🔹 Highlighted our country’s contribution as a NATO Ally and welcomed Qatar’s valuable partnership with the Alliance in promoting peace and stability.

🇲🇰🇶🇦 This morning in Doha, I met with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

🔹 Reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations and discussed further strengthening political dialogue, economic cooperation and investment.
🔹 Exchanged views on current regional and international developments, as well as cooperation within multilateral organisations.
🔹 Signed the Agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports, together with a Memorandum on Political Consultations and a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Diplomatic Training.

🇲🇰🇶🇦 I began my working visit to the State of Qatar with a productive meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

🔹 Reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations and our shared commitment to further strengthening political dialogue, economic cooperation and investment.
🔹 Exchanged views on current regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the Middle East, the broader security environment and cooperation in multilateral organisations.
🔹 Confirmed our mutual readiness to further deepen relations and expand cooperation across areas of common interest.
🔹 Together with the signing of several bilateral agreements, this visit will bring new momentum to our partnership and create new opportunities for cooperation.

🇺🇳🇲🇰🇪🇺 Today, I participated in the business forum “Turning Sustainability into Competitiveness: Building Resilient Businesses in an Uncertain World”, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Chamber of Commerce, the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office and the EU Delegation.

🔹 Discussed how Macedonian companies can become more competitive in a rapidly changing geopolitical, economic and technological environment.
🔹 Emphasised that economic diplomacy remains a key priority, focused on opening new markets, attracting investment, promoting exports and creating new economic partnerships.
🔹 Underlined that stronger public-private dialogue, predictable policies and close cooperation with international partners are essential for building a more resilient and competitive economy.

🇲🇰🇪🇺 At @DubrovnikForum, I spoke about the future of EU enlargement in the Western Balkans and the need for a credible, predictable and merit-based accession process.

🔹 Emphasised that gradual integration can be a valuable instrument only if it serves as a bridge to full EU membership, not a permanent waiting room.
🔹 Reaffirmed our commitment to reforms and our full alignment with the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy.
🔹 Underlined that the European integration of the Western Balkans is a shared strategic interest that strengthens Europe’s security, stability and prosperity.

🔹 Reviewed progress on the implementation of the bilateral priorities and objectives agreed during the Second Session of the Strategic Dialogue between our two governments.
🔹 Discussed energy and infrastructure resilience, economic and trade cooperation, cybersecurity, migration issues, and joint efforts to combat organized crime and illicit drug trafficking.
🔹 Reaffirmed the importance of close coordination and intensified cooperation in advancing agreed initiatives in line with the shared strategic interests of our two countries.
