UPDATE: Track-drying efforts are underway at @EchoParkSpdwy.

NASCAR estimates drying should be complete by 11:45 p.m. ET with no more rain. Drivers will report to their cars prior to that time.

Davey nails it here. Yes, EIRI invoked due to the unique circumstances, temporary race course, etc.

Working to give the 17 its laps back. The 17 does need to complete the laps, however (versus updating the tech on the back end to award uncompleted laps).

Unprecedented circumstances here: #NASCAR let @corey_day_'s No. 17 team work on his car under that red flag AND are giving him his laps back that he lost while behind the wall.

The good 'ole EIRI being used here. Obviously, the manhole wasn't their fault, so this makes sense.

Track update: Work on the original problem area cover has been completed. While checking the course for other potential issues, we touched up a second cover in turn 6. Welding complete.

Engines re-fired.
