Time to kill? How about a book swap? Telephone boxes all over the AONB are becoming home to second hand books and information. This one is at Upper Welland - carefully restored by the local community with help from the AONB.
What do you do if your ponies eat your hedges? Make a horse moat! This is protecting a brand new hedge, which will one day be a wildlife corridor, connecting hedges on either side of it. Huge thanks to the farmer, who was supported with a grant from MHAONB.
Nine new field trees at Mathon Park, a partnership between the land owner and MHAONB. Look at the veteran tree in the background and just think what these could grow into. Amazing!
