Common Sense Candidate for Congress to represent CA-11 SF. I'm fighting for Affordability, Public Safety & Small Business - the true engine of our economy.
It's Common Sense. ๐
Support putting UGH COMPROMISE on the November ballot:
- Closed on weekends
- during week people can get to work, school, etc
UGH closure = Sunset traffic accidents + drive times have increased.
Help your fellow San Franciscans fix the over-reach.
The city of Oakland, California only has a population of 440,000 but passed a $4 billion dollar budget for themselves over 2 years
For reference Phoenix, Arizona has 1.65 million people and their budget is $2.3 billion
But donโt worry they say they need the money for things like โmore traffic camerasโ and more homeless spending
I also found roughly 55% of Oaklands massive budget goes to salaries and Admin spendingโฆ. I think we found the problem
@bettersoma@Scott_Wiener Great Q. And as soon as there was a moderate challenger in the Congressional race (me) the media pandered to Scott and his bullies.
We'll keep fighting for accountability.
@KimChiSpicey@DanWheeler4SF EnglesonMuni is likely Adam Engleman, the guy who has publicly called for bullying people who are not anti-car.
He is a bully & is part of the Scott Wiener, Todd David, Joe A, Robin Pam, Zach Rosen, Lucas Lux inner circle, so it makes sense that he's largely in step with them.
Let's Recap:
A.) Use "zombie stores" catchphrase as newly minted bogeyman for useful idiots to suck on
B.) Give grocery stores a viable reason to completely abandon the city
C.) Bludgeon commercial property owners
D.) Tax taxpayers to pay subsidy to the grocery stores that are too expensive. Pay to pay -- why has no one thought of this before?
E.) Allow city leadership like Mahmood to line his pockets with the grift from the subsidies.
... Or you could just do away with all the regulation you morons introduced and actually resolve the shoplifting issue-- you know go back to standards that worked perfectly way back in 2018.
@bilalmahmood #1 is fine
The other 2 will lead to gov having more (seriously, with a $17B budget you want to take more money from us?), the people having less and criminals continuing to wreak havoc.
Solve the actual problems before you do anything else.
This defeatist attitude isn't part of my DNA so we're probably not going to see eye to eye on this, but here's some info:
The woman in 2nd place is a sitting supervisor who was in the race for 8 months - and only got 70K votes, I was in for 3 months and I got in the race bc there was no other moderate - I changed the conversation, which is a win in and of itself.
No one else was willing to stand up against the failed policies of the last several years - including policies that are erasing women & girls.
Standing up for what's right always comes at a cost, and it's always worth it.
